IT'S THE SAME AS POINTING OUT THAT NAPALM DEATH ARE NO LONGER A GRINDCORE BAND. I don't know what you mean when you say they only played a few songs that you recognised. On the Thursday Metallica played 10 Classic Songs out of the 16 songs on the setlist.

I saw the Daphne and Celeste show at Reading Festival - I thought it was one of the most punk rock things I ever saw and I’m not even joking. They stuck it out and finished the set - and they gave no f*cks.
